About Me

Hi, I’m Jess, nice to meet you! Everyone’s story is unique and special. Here is mine.

I have over 21 years of first-hand knowledge about coaching. I have coached and been coached for most of my life. With a background in competitive soccer from a young age, I’ve been both benefactor and victim to good and bad coaching--the better of which helped me achieve my childhood dreams of playing soccer at the University of Southern California (USC 05’,06’), and on a national team level (USA Youth, and Australian U19).

After a career-ending knee injury, I was hit with anxiety and depression--all that I had worked for, my life purpose, was gone overnight. I would never see my dreams of being a professional soccer player play out. My anxiety didn’t go away and, for the better part of 10 years, I struggled to find that same feeling of fulfilment that soccer gave me.

I settled into a successful career as a Marketing Strategist for global media agencies, where I advised multinational corporations on how to grow their brand, and take it from where they were to where they wanted to be. I excelled in the disciplines of media, creative, branding, technology, digital media, and PR. I was good at what I did and liked parts of it, but I didn’t feel that same excitement I knew was possible. So, on the side, I began to write self-help books, self-help poems, and through this, I re-discovered my passion: to help people.

That’s when I found my way back to coaching and remembered all it had done for me in the past. Since then, I became a Certified Life Coach (CLC, Life Purpose Institute) and have been helping people achieve their greatest life dreams.
